SEPA-SCT-CORE-002: Execution date with time is not a SEPA core element

The requested execution date is given as a date and time (DtTm) instead of a date (Dt). Date Time is not part of the SEPA core subset; it is only available in additional optional services.

Why it matters

Not a SEPA core element; your bank may reject it if it does not offer that optional service.

How to fix it

Send the requested execution date as ReqdExctnDt/Dt, or confirm with your bank that it supports a date and time.

Example

Synthetic XML fragments.

Example that fails
<ReqdExctnDt>
  <DtTm>2026-10-20T10:00:00</DtTm>
</ReqdExctnDt>
Corrected
<ReqdExctnDt>
  <Dt>2026-10-20</Dt>
</ReqdExctnDt>
