SEPA-SCT-ADDR-003: Debtor country required for a non-EEA SEPA payment

The debtor agent or a creditor agent in this payment information block is in a non-EEA SEPA country or territory (such as Switzerland, the United Kingdom or Serbia; identified by the BIC or, without a BIC, by the IBAN), so the debtor's postal address must give its Country.

Why it matters

Payments to or from non-EEA SEPA countries must carry the payer's address; without a country they do not meet the SEPA usage rules and may be rejected.

How to fix it

Send the debtor (company code) address with Country, preferably fully structured with Town Name and Country.
